横浜生まれ。
桐朋学園付属｢子供のための音楽教室｣鎌倉教室に5歳で入室。
フェリス女学院中学校卒業後、単身で渡伊。
私立ミラノ音楽院を経て、ミラノ・国立ヴェルディ音楽院に特別編入。最高点及び最優秀賞で卒業。
その後同学院大学院ピアノ演奏科に首席で合格、2008年8月に最高点及び最優秀賞で修了。
その後ロマーノ・ロマニーニ財団音楽アカデミー、ピアノ科高等研修課でも学び、国立ヴェルディ音楽院チェンバロ（鍵盤古楽器）科や室内楽アリア科専属ピアニストとしても研鑽を積んだ。
2002年ヴァレンナ国際コンクール最高位入賞。
同年カルロ・ヴィドゥッソ ピアノコンクール第二位入賞。
2004年マルコ・フォルティーニ ピアノ国際コンクール第三位入賞。
2006年5月、ラッコニージ国際コンクール・ピアノ部門優勝。
現在はロンドンを拠点にピアノ指導、オンラインSkypeレッスンなども通してアジア圏でも活動中。
2001年より演奏活動を開始。
ミラノを始めヴェネツィア、ストレーザ、ブレーシャ、その他イタリア各地および日本で数々のリサイタル及びチャリティーコンサートを行う。
2003年、Societa’ dei Concerti 主催のミラノにおける夏のコンサートシリーズ・オープニングセレモニーに期待の若手ピアニストとして招かれ演奏。
2005年12月アレッツォ(伊)で開催された、 ピアニストJoerg Demusによる“Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli” メモリアル・マスタークラスにて、奨学金を授与される。
2006年4月イタリアのラジオクラシック番組 “il pianista” にゲスト出演。
同年７月にミラノで行われた、宮崎駿映画祭のオープニングセレモニーにもゲスト出演。2007年8月にはBergolo（伊）の音楽祭で、‘06年ラッコニージ国際コンクールピアノ部門優勝者としてソロリサイタルを行った。
CinikRecordsより”HAIKU”曲集がリリースされている。

About Haruna

Haruna Nakada is an experienced Japanese Pianist who has spent the last 17 years studying, performing and teaching Piano in Italy and the UK.
Born in Yokohama in 1983, she began studying the piano at 4 years old. In 1998 she moved to Italy graduating in 2004 from Milan Conservatoire of Music with top marks and honours. She continued her studies at the Romano Romanini Academy in Brescia, at the Milan Conservatoire for Diploma Second Level. In 2008 she graduated, achieving top marks with honours.
She also studied Harpsichord and chamber voice music as a collaborator pianist.
In 2005 she won a scholarship at the Masterclass in memory of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli in Arezzo, held by famous pianist Jörg Demus.
She is also the winner of many international competitions. She has played in public, in prestigious concert halls in both Italy and Japan. She has played at many opening ceremony concerts like H.Miyazaki Film Festival or Società dei Concerti in Milan.
She has also performed live broadcasts on Radio Classica.
She teaches piano and theory to children and adult learners, including preparation for music exams.
